Real time tracking and data collection: The L2 level process control system triggers model setting and self-learning through the tracking and event system, and sends the setting data to the PLC to provide accurate setting data for the rolling line equipment, and records the rolling line data online. In addition, the system can also achieve automatic setting of the strip hot rolling mill, improving product quality control.

2. Data management and storage: The L2 level process control system can organize production according to MES system orders, and transmit model calculation results, control parameters, etc. to the L1 level PLC system through L2 level computers, ultimately achieving operational control of on-site equipment. The system also supports the collection, processing, and storage of multi frequency heterogeneous industrial data, solving the problem of efficient collection, storage, and use of heterogeneous data in process oriented industries.

3. Process parameter optimization: The L2 level process control system optimizes the process parameters in the production process through real-time tracking and data acquisition to ensure the satisfaction of product quality and performance indicators.

4. Fault diagnosis and self-healing control: Based on large-scale data-driven research on fault diagnosis and self-healing control in the steel rolling process, the existing large amount of idle data in the steel rolling production line is used as a resource to explore and utilize it, realizing the value of data. Weak faults and hidden faults are the main research objects to achieve early diagnosis, early prediction, and early clearance of faults.

5. Data Integration and Visualization Display: The hot rolling production process data integration and data warehouse platform mainly provides functions such as heterogeneous data source integration, dynamic generation of data warehouse themes, and analysis and display of theme data. It can convert and integrate steel rolling production process data from different sources, and provide various visualization display methods such as data value distribution and correlation analysis for users to analyze.
